To everyone who has submitted a hat order, rest assured, I am working on them! But, I took last week off to work on a wedding sampler for a friend who got married on Sunday. I designed this myself, and it took me exactly one week to stitch it. On 16 count Aida, it is 8x10. I'm sorry the picture is so blurry, I couldn't find the battery for my good camera, so I had to use my cell phone.
This past weekend I also found some time to bring my baby sister to one of my favorite stores, Hobby Lobby. Mom sent me to get some art stuff for Sarah, so since she was there I let her pick out her own thread. (yes, the kid is only two, but she can already thread pony beads onto a pipe cleaner.)
She had so much fun counting to five and telling my how beautiful the colors were. She's so bright, and I can't wait to teach her how to actually cross stitch when she's older. She already has a love for crafting!
