Fun with Mini Amigarumi

Greetings again!

Last week I went on a Pinterest kick of adorable mini amigarumi. I even tried my hand at one.
Isn't it adorable? I couldn't stop at one. Now my sewing box has some critters hiding in it.

A quick how-to for these guys. Not really a pattern since I used some other patterns to make these. You will need a small amount worsted weight yarn, two safety eyes, and an H hook.
For the body, head over to Ravelry for the Ideal Crochet Sphere pattern (it's free!).
I used the fourteen row sphere for my little ones, use whatever one catches your fancy.
Before starting your sphere, make eight curly cues. For mine, I chained 10, then 3 HDC in second chain from hook and each chain to end, do not weave in ends!, then give it a quick twist to get the spiral. If working a larger sphere, add more chains and/or work in double crochet.
To assemble, work the sphere until the first decrease row. Add the eyes around the even row, then work until the second to last row. Tie the legs on, spacing them evenly around, and tucking the ends inside the sphere (yay, no weaving in ends!). Stuff with some fluff and finish the sphere, tucking the last yarn tail inside and your done!
